Turning Disney Photos into Art

Playing around with post processing, I decided to do a little Disney art with a few photos. Of course, the castle was target #1! I went for a crazy sunbeam pencil sketch effect which I thought had a neat look:

Then using the same photo, but leaving in some of the 'night look' of the original, I went for a Van Gogh sort of look - dark and patterned:

I decided to have a little fun with the processing, and go a different direction for Spaceship Earth - I went for a Spaceship Earth made out of solid GOLD!:

With Everest, I wanted to go for a softer, deeper watercolor effect - sort of a misty morning mood painted effect:

Fun with processing! Comments, critique, questions welcomed...and feel free to share your own creations as well.

Here is one of mine that I had a little fun with. Sort of a sketch art effect. I used a couple layers & lightened the background to give the pic a little depth.

Nice work Cooleo - a fun way to process such a shot!

Mousefan...that's some seriously evil looking hotel!

Thanks Justin. Here's another using the same effect, but with the whole gang. I don't like this one as much as the Mickey / Minnie.

Nice work Joe. My favorite is the Haunted Mansion sign, with the Liberty Belle being a very close second.
