Victoria and Albert's

One afternoon at the GF, we wandered into Victoria and Albert's before they opened. It is a very small dark restaurant. After ten minutes we were asked to leave by a castmember. it is the only time I have ever been asked to leave.

Having eaten there twice, I can say that there is alot of about Victoria & Albert's that is contrary to what you'd expect from Disney. For example, it's the only restaurant where they'll turn you away if you have kids with you

It's like eating in a library. That is why we preferred the chef's table where the dress code was enforced but you can be as noisy as you wanna be

Well they didn't enforce it the night my wife and I went in Dec.

A table next to us had a toddler and the plopped the DVD player right on the table to try and keep him quiet.

With that being said, I don't think ANY kid can survive a 3 hour meal.

I guess with every hard fast rule there is an exception. We were told during our Chef's Table experience that is one rule they very rarely ever make an exception for because Victoria & Albert's is supposed to be a haven from children for the more "discerning" diner. But, they also hinted at the possibility that money "speaks" loudly there.

We were told they have made exceptions for High School aged kids but would preface the exception to the parents with a warning that they would be asked to leave if people complained.

HAHAHA! I'll bet that they were repulsed just by the site of someone in there in shorts. Not to mention the Hawaiian shirt. I am sure that you looked great though, and of course were nice and comfy for a day in the parks.
