Warner Bros announces new Harry Potter film

Okay it's going to be set in the Harry Potter universe and written by JK Rowling.

Will this be enough to spur Disney with more innovation/expansion? ; Universal is no longer building new lands for a "dead" franchise. (I read that defense of Disney from people that WWoHP was only a fad)
 
If it's the new book she is supposed to be writing it is set 70 years before the Harry Potter series but is in no way related to Harry Potter.
 
Actually the book is referenced in the first HP book. And it will be in the same universe, much like the future Star Wars films will not have the main characters in them ( Disney already announced this - they have started production on other Films beyond episode 7)
 
Actually, I don't think it's a book but she is actually going to be writing the movie scripts this time. ; If I read correctly, it's going to be the origin story behind one of the textbooks used at Hogwarts.


I also thought I read that she said it's going to be set in NYC
