Not sure how successful this was in getting people together for unofficial meets at WDW, but I figured I would give it another shot for 2019. Maybe seeing everyone once a year is enough for most...

I will definitely have a June/July trip and a mid-September trip, though neither is booked yet. Next planned trip is Feb 1 - 5, staying at Saratoga Springs. Won't make Moonlight Magic as I'm driving home on the 5th. Likely doing MK on Feb 2, AK on Feb 3, and Epcot on Feb 4. Feb 1 will just be Disney Springs walkaround and resorts.
 
I will be there around August 15th through the 22nd, then again from the 24th through about the 28th. Moving Amanda into college between those.

I will also be there September 28th and 29th for a quick trip.

Pixelmania for me is Dec. 6-11.
 
I plan to go to Dragon Con in Atlanta over Labor Day weekend. Since I'm halfway there, I think that it makes a lot of sense to go the other half of the distance to Orlando and spend the rest of that week at WDW. Early Halloween party, anyone?

That's September 2 through September 6 or 7. Not sure of the checkout date or lodging yet.

Update: Got a great deal at Pop for 9/2-7. WDW is offering a decent discount for most resorts through Sept. 30.

Speaking of early Halloween Party, dates have been released and tickets are on sale now.

August – 16, 20, 23, 27 and 30
September – 2, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27 and 29
October – 1, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 29 and 31
November 1

LOL! Saw that today and we are going on the 20th!!!
 
Bad timing for me, but I guess I can catch a morning flight from Atlanta to Orlando on September 2. I'm sure it will be more crowded on Friday, Sep. 6.
 
Looks like I might have a pre-pixelmania Cruise in November (with a day or two at Disney.

Tentatively the cruise is November 9-16 and the overall trip being the 8th thru the 18th... then I’m home just long enough to wash my clothes and repack my suitcase to fly back down for Pixelmania. I’d almost consider just getting a cheap hotel in Orlando and stay down there for a month total.

Sounds to me like getting a cheap hotel for a coupled nights is your best bet. If you get the owners locker for the days after the cruise take it with you to save that cost too.
 
It really depends on the cost of the airfare... and if I can find a hotel for the same price or cheaper than the cost of the return flight. There’s also be the price of a car to factor in. Gotta wait until it’s slightly closer to figure it out.

With Amanda committing to going to University of Tampa we are making yet another trip down in November for a quick weekend. We check into Saratoga Springs on November 7 and check out on the 9th.

And our dates for August changed a little, we are now staying at Saratoga Springs from the 18th-27th.

All stays are at Saratoga Springs with the exception of Pixelmania where I will be at Pop.

Sure is nice to have such a great excuse to go to Disney!
 
Off to Disney tomorrow! Unfortunately, the cold fronts have been playing cruel games with me - I haven't been able to score a legitimate cold front at Disney now for years - despite always going in December and January/February. Last week we made it down to the 40s even here in S Florida, but by tomorrow, Orlando area will be floating in the mid-to upper-70s with lows around 64. Don't they know I go UP to Disney World in hopes of getting some winter weather??!! ;)

Day after tomorrow for us! And we go DOWN to Florida this time of year to get away from the single digits we've had for the last few days. I guess "they" listened to us this time!
 
So tentatively my November trip will be 11/8 thru 11/21 (with the 9th to 16th on the cruise). That now gives me one week to do laundry and repack for PM2K19.

For you Southwest fliers, they surprised me today and started taking reservations for travel through October 1.

The Southwest Travel Tools page now says the next opening is March 13 for travel through November 2.
