OK, so there's too much green stuff for Arrakis.
I was out picking up walnuts in my front yard, and I came across this HUGE caterpillar. ; It's probably five inches long and at least a half inch in diameter.
After a little research (thank you, Google), I discovered it is a Citherona Regalis, commonly called the Hickory Horned Devil.
Apparently it was looking for a place to burrow into the ground so it could transform into a Regal or Royal Walnut moth.
Despite its appearance, I guess they're pretty harmless. ; Ugly, though.
