Had a great day today as the weather cleared shortly after showtime. My arrived at about 7:15 as usual so I could be one of the first into the show to grab a spot on the flight line and saw many familiar faces from the past few years.
I have to say, as far as warbirds go, this has to be one of (if not the best) collection of flying WWII aircraft.
Planes that flew today: F-4 Corasir, Dauntless Divebomber, SB2C-5 Helldiver, 3 B-25 Mitchell's, B-17 Flying Fortress, 1 of the only 2 B-24 Liberators that's still fly, P-40 Warhawk, Republic P-47 Thunderbolt, Grumman FM-2 Wildcat, 3 different P-51 Mustangs, about 30 different trainer and liaison aircraft, and the only flying B-29 Superfortress.
These are straight from the camera with no processing. I am looking forward to getting a good look at them once I get home.
