as several already know I was able to get a Nikon 200-400 VRII lens about 2 months ago. here are some of ths shots I have gotten with it. an amazing piece of glass.

great shots love the cormorant with what appears to be 2 bergalls, it would make sense as bergalls school tightly and are right around rocks/jetties etc.

Hey now! ; You're getting in nice and tight on those birds...thought that was something only us Floridians could do. ; Looks like your Jersey birds are getting less skittish with people around and are letting you get a lot closer. ; Fine work - quite possibly your best so far!

Justin they are still the same skittish birds. I use the car sometimes as a blind and shoot out the window because if I get out off they go and thank you for the compliment
 
thanks. I got lucky with great light and then used a plugin to soften it up and add a little gow
