That's a cool trick. ; I'll give that a try at Pixelmania.

I've done that with less exposures by watching for people to move and then using layer masks to remove the people. ; The only problem either method doesn't solve is that one person who sits in the same spot all day

Yep! ; I use that technique, if not a little simplified, quite often. ; I sometimes just do 2 or 3 shots, when shooting someplace where tourists and people are just constantly in the way - I'll take a shot, then wait for a moment when I know that people have moved significantly from where they were - sometimes two does the trick if you just need to get rid of 1 or 2 people - or sometimes a few extra shots are needed if there are a lot of people.

This was 3 shots, about 20 people were wandering through the courtyard of this fort:

I knew about this from before and CONSTANTLY forget to utilize it. ; Great technique.

Ah - the fort was mostly for Sean & Karen since they started the thread. ; It's in Halifax, Nova Scotia, which is where they were living last I heard - so I figured they'd be familiar with it!

Cool fort, too. ; I love old forts and citadels and visit them wherever I am in the world.

Thanks for posting this. ; This is why I like reading this forum is the help and education I get from such great folks.
