I hate having to drive to sea world to get a hoagie.
"Tim" said:It hilarious to see the differences in opinion that people from NJ who are exposed to WaWa every day and people who are fairy new to WaWa. ; I much prefer other coffee options (7-11, Dunkin, or McD come to mind) but WaWa is just EVERYWHERE.
I'd be in trouble in Georgia then... I love Slurpies!"fotodave" said:Plus I'm only a year removed from the hell that is Georgia. ; They dont even have a damn 7-11 there.
"zackiedawg" said:I've never heard of Wawa...guess I've been away from Jersey too long. ; Down here in Florida, we've got Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts pretty much everywhere, and that's about it as far as the chains go. ; If they ever decide to have professional hockey again, before all the stadiums rot and fall down while rich owners argue with rich players over who should be richer, maybe they can at least strike an agreement with Tim Horton's to put a Tim's in every US stadium. ; That would put a Tim Horton's in Florida, within a 20 minute drive of me!
"zackiedawg" said:BTW, Dave - you might come down to South Florida - we've at least got better food. ; You still live in the Old South up there in central Florida...down here in South Florida, it's as Yankee Blue as can be, with 95% of the population from NJ, NY, and MA...and they brought their food with them.
"fotodave" said:I grew up with it. ; Granted, its not a fantastic hoagie but ... well we're in Florida. The cuisine here lacks a certain je ne ce quois. (I have a similar rant on the demise of Disney Dining since 2004 but thats for a different time)

So being able to get really good iced tea, fresh tastykakes, Herrs potato chips and a decent hoagie are pretty impressive.
"zackiedawg" said:One camera, one lens...wow...how Zen! ; Let's see, I'll be traveling to Disney tomorrow with 3 camera bags, 2 camera bodies, and 22 lenses. ; Even though I may only end up using 4 or 5 of them, I'm still bringing them, because you never know!
Of course, the convenience of being able to toss them all in the trunk of my car rather than worrying about packing for airline weight restrictions makes that choice easy. ;![]()
