Great shots Jim! ; I love how you used a fast shutter in the first to freeze the wings yet a slow enough one to make the wings almost disappear.

Thanks. ; These were actually shot at the same shutter speed 1/250. ; To try and stop the motion I used my flash inside a softbox next to the feeder.

Very cool. ; Love seeing them up close - I've never had a hummingbird feeder, so I've never had close access to them - the only ones I've ever seen have been in the wild and so very hard to shoot. ; This makes me want to get a feeder. ; And move to somewhere that hummingbrids might actually show up!
