disney always casts a strong voice in the gaston role, the music calls for it, but this guy, he was on a whole other plane of vocals, this man has been trained in operatic voice, that was clearly evident to anyone with minimal knowledge of vocal skill sets. i have never heard a stronger gaston in all my years of watching this show, and i will bet i have seen upwards of 100 performances, and just so my streetcred is clear, i have been to the ny met for several performances, and also stage production of sweeney todd, demon barber of fleet street, and this man has an opera quality baritone
