So the Frontier League (Independant) is having their All-Star Game in my town. ; Today they had a luncheon to acknowledge the players with a keynote speech by Mike Veeck. ; I was able to meet him after the luncheon and as luck would have it he and his family arrived at the ballpark for tonite's Home Run Derby just as I was. ; He, his wife and his daughter were very nice and we all got a great laugh as I pulled the following out of my bag for him to autograph...
