Disney Brings Back Popular Pirate Princess Parties

Associated Press - LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- "Pirate and Princess Parties" will return to Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom late this summer.

The park ran the after-hours events for 13 nights this past winter, and Disney will bring them back for eight nights starting August 11.

The events will run from 7:00pm to midnight on certain nights in August and September. They will feature a Pirates of the Caribbean-themed parade, princess courts, a pirate action cove, live entertainment and dance parties.

Advance tickets went on sale last week. The cost is $33 for children ages 3-through-9 and $39 for older children and adults. Tickets purchased the day of the event will cost $7 more.

Dates have been announced (not officially - so subject to change) for 2008.

This was in recent newsletter I'd seen:
According to disneyworld.com, the Pirates and Princess parties will be coming again in 2008. A partial list of dates: January 21, 26; February 2, 9, 14, 22; March 1, 6, 11, 14. NOTE: These dates are tentative -- a full list of party dates will be announced soon.
