His project #1 is precisely how I like to shoot in Disney, for years now. ; I usually suggest it to anyone who asks for a shooting project or style in Disney - it's surprising how few people actually do think of shooting that way, because Disney is far and away the best location on Earth for such styles. ; There is nowhere I can think of that allows you to take photos that could be taken in any of 10 decades, 50 states, or 100+ countries around the world. ; The details are stunning, and in multitudes far too many to ever shoot all of. ; I've been trying, 4-6 times a year every year since I started shooting digital in 1997, plus a few decades of film shooting before that. ; Every time I go back, I can find another few hundred details I've never shot before.

That was an interesting read. ; I would have never thought of giving myself a theme to shoot for. ; I might have to give this a try when I am there in August.

I have gone to the World my entire life in the summer time, so it doesn't bother me. ; We got married there on 8/7/00 and it was 95 outside with a nice breeze that blew across Sunset Pointe at the Poly. ; I have only gotten "sick" once and that was in the summer of 2001 when we went for our anniversary. ; It was like 120 with the heat index that year and all the pavilions were 50 degrees cooler, so it really kick our tails. ; We finally started going at opening then leaving and going back for a nap, then going back at night. ; I like being in the parks late at night because I think they are more picturesque.
I just like to find shady spots throughout the parks where I can grab a drink and hit the shade to sit for a spell - just to dry the sweat and drink up something cold. ; Then again, I do live down here in Florida - so though I sweat profusely, it doesn't really affect me otherwise. ; I go walking out in the swamps, in direct sunlight, for miles in the middle of the summer looking for animals and birds, carrying 40Lbs of pack, so I guess I've just gotten used to it.
And at least in a few of the parks at Disney, you can get away with sweating a lot...just head over to MK and hang around Splash Mountain, or AK near Kali rapids...that way noone can tell the water from the sweat! ;
