  • Time: Event is from 9:30 PM to 12:30 AM; Members and special guests can enter the park as early as 7:30 PM
  • Location: Epcot at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida
How to Book
Book online when your reservation window opens. An event reservation is required.
Members with Disney Resort hotel reservations during the event can book online beginning Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at 9:00 AM Eastern Time. Event reservations open to all Members on Tuesday November 7, 2017 at 9:00 AM Eastern Time.

Important Information

  • Reservations are required and limited. Unfortunately, walk-ins will not be permitted.
  • Valid Disney Vacation Club Membership Card and photo ID required at check-in.
  • Complimentary admission to the after-hours event at Epcot is valid for the duration of the event. If you wish to enter Epcot before the event, valid theme park admission is required.
  • Party size limits apply. For Members with a reservation at a Disney Resort hotel, party size is limited to the Member and up to the number of guests listed on their Disney Resort hotel reservation. For Members without a reservation at a Disney Resort hotel, party size is limited to the Member and up to 5 guests.
  • Offer is complimentary, non-transferable and cannot be sold.
  • Guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a participating parent or guardian.
  • We request that Members cancel at least 48 hours in advance.
  • Event may be canceled at the discretion of Disney Vacation Club due to inclement weather and Members will be notified via resort communication.
 
QUESTIONS ABOUT THIS?

How many are interested in attending and which days? So we will have an idea how many we should try to get reservations for?

What DVC members will be trying to make reservations on Tuesday October 24 at 9:00AM and for which day or days?
I am going to try to book some for BOTH days (if they will let me). Which day are more of you interested in attending?
I may have trouble being able to do it right at 9AM, but I plan to try.
 
I too am going to try and get as many spots as allowed for both events. I have my alarm set for 8am (CST) for the 24th...

I had talked with one of the DVC Agents at my resort a few weeks ago and they thought that you should be able to reserve both. (But we will see once it opens). I suppose that there were/are not that many with reservations that cover both events (now and in the past)...

I'd like to attend on Dec. 11, if someone will allow me to tag along after I get back from Universal.
 
i can try for both, i will be on dvc res 12/5 to 12/12, so that should do for 12/11, however 12/4 i will be a one nighter cash at port orleans french quarter, so i do not know if i can make the res on my dvc or not, i will try on 10/24, i will be at beach club that day with karen, 10/21 to 10/28, and will have a laptop with us. i will post up that morning if i am not able to grab 12/4
 
When we did the DAK event in September my parents were not able to make it since they didn't want to get stuck in Florida for the hurricane. When we checked in for the event we gave back the extra two spots and the CM said that they get lots of last minute walkups so you don't have to worry about someone not getting in if you don't fill all the spots you reserved.

Stupid question. In the earlier thread started by Jeff, it sounded like a member could bring 5 guests or the number of guests in their DVC room, whichever is greater. In the info Jackie posted above it sounds like you're limited to the number of guests on your reservation unless you don't have a reservation in which case you're limited to 5 guests.

Does anyone know which is correct? I only ask because if the second option is correct, we won't be getting any non-DVC folks in.
 
I noticed that also, Michael. To me it doesn't seem likely that a DVC member without a resort reservation would be allowed to bring 5 guests while someone with a resort reservation could only bring the number on their reservation, but not up to at least 5 guests. Of course, if their reservation had more then 5 they bring them all.
 
When I asked, they made it seem like it was the # of guests in you room or up to 6 total... which ever is the greater number. Keep in mind that a 2Bdr villa can hold 10-12 people (and even more in the Grand Villas).

Its definitely a minimum of the member plus 5 guests, up to the number of people on the reservation. I have always booked 6 total attendees and we have always had only two on the reservation.

Yes, but on which date you are able to book is the bigger question. Though I think the DAK event took a day or two to "sell out" once it opened to everyone...

Don’t forget that for those of us with DVC Resort Reservations, event booking opens up on Tuesday (10/24) early in the morning. Sounds like it has to initially be done online but I’m thinking of calling afterwards (or a day or two later) to confirm.

Thanks for the BUMP. Tomorrow morning (Tuesday October 24) at 9:00 AM!!! It looks like Jeff, Gary and I will be trying to book this event for both Mondays. Wish us good luck!!
