ya darn betcha. i had the 5d with the 24-105L for the wide shots and the 20d with the 70-200L for the up close and personal shots. it took some getting used to but i think the setup worked... if it didn't look a bit ridiculous... ;)

Considering the 3 camera setup I saw most of the professional photographers sporting when my wife and I were at EPCOT for the Astronaut day. I don't think you could look as ridiculous as that

fantastic gallery. Probably better photos of the event than we'll see anywhere else.

Better than what I've seen anywhere else and quite a few sites have photos up already. I wonder how early Tim had to get there to score that sweet location

i was there at rope drop and jeff lange was able to secure a spot (of sorts) for me at the rope in front of the stage. to avoid upsetting people who got there before i did, i knelt the entire time so they could shoot over top of my head. it all worked out for the best, however.

These pictures are fantastic. I wouldn't have expected anything less than perfect from you anyway, Tim. Great job, too bad I was in the coffee line for a half an hour or I could've weaseled my way right behind you, lol.

Tim,

You were very considerate. From my experience, most people wouldn't have given a hoot if they were blocking other people by taking pictures
