Went for a walk on the Freedom Trail yesterday, not the whole thing but a good portion of it. ; Highly recommend it for any one visiting Boston. ; Since my DSLR is still at the camera shop, I had to use my P&S which is also failing me. ; I had to rely on my 9 year old's P&S! ; I'll give him full credit for these.

Current Statehouse

Here rests Samuel Adams. ; The dimes and pennies left there began as a tribute to Paul Revere since he was a silversmith and coppersmith. ; The stones left there are a Jewish tradition which you may remember from Schindler's list at the end of the movie.

The Old Statehouse where the Declaration of Independence was first read to the public in Massachusetts.

We finished the day in the North End for some great Italian food.
