Thursday
The phone rang at 4:45 a.m. we dragged ourselves form the comfy covers at the Sleep Inn in Buffalo an headed down for breakfast and the shuttle to the airport. Plane departed on time, we enjoyed the DirecTV on the JEt Blue flight. Less than an hour after landing we were in the lobby at All Star Movies.
Rooms weren't ready so we went for a swim then climbed on the bus to head to Chef's Mickey's. After the character meal it was back to ASMO.
Friday morning the horde were off to MK. Things started off well hardly any lines at the attractions, lunch at the Crystal Palace. After lunch we went to Pirates of the Carribean. The boat we were in was riding rough then stopped. Lights went on CM's scurried about. AFter 20 minutes we were instructed to climp out of the boats walk along a tiny edge then through a rock door and were outside in the back of the building. CM handed us a fast pass for use later.
A few more rides then back to the resort at 3:00 p.m. for a swim and some rest. ;8 o'clock on a bus back to MK. at 11:30 DD 10 & I had had enough and headed back to our rooms. There were EMH that evening until 2:00 a.m.
Next morning DD described how Thunder Mountain broke down and again they had to make their way off the ride by foot.
Early Saturday another DH and I headed over to pick up our cars at DTD. We arrived expecting to rent two cars but the woman at Budget offered us a 12 seater van. We went for it returned to ASMO then the gang were off to Bradenton to spend the day at another DH's sister. BBQ lunch, beach and then strip loin for dinner. We return to ASMO Sunday morning at 1:30 a.m.
I dropped the horde off then parked the van. Upon returning to my room the DH informed me that the evelvator got stuck for a free minutes until a CM freed them.
Sunday time to say good bye to ASMO and hello to AKV. Off to EPCOT for a 2:20 table service at Tutto at Italy in the world showcase. The food was scrumptious. We packed in the EPCOT must sees, Soarin, Test TRAck and Nemo.
DW is part of the Mom's CLub and there was a special reception beside the Canada where we were served Micky Bars, soft drinks, water and dessert once that was done we were escorted to a private viewing area for illuminations.
Today, Monday, we just hung around the resort and swam. One of the families headed off to AK.
