A hummingbird is not the easiest thing to photograph... ; Taken through my dining room window earlier tonight.

Very cool, tried to get them up here in Aberdeen 2 summers but no luck. ;

yea they are tough. very skittish.a friend does it by painting an old coffee can black and setting it on a pole to resemble a lens so the bird realizes it is not a threat ; and then has a stick near the feeder that the hummingbird can perch on as they will protect there feeder and he just sits there and fires away

Nice work Tim! ; I've seen one flying around my house, but I've never had my camera out and ready to catch it.
