The way it's looking, I'll be the sole representative at the unpublished meet at Hong Kong Disneyland during the official dates for Pixelmania! ; I'm trying to think if I'm going to have an HK IASW, Jungle Cruise, or Space Mountain meet(s)....haha

haha!

If I was going I'd bring my

Canon 50D
Sigma 10-22 Wide Angle
Canon 50mm 1.4
Canon 28-105mm
Canon 55-250mmIS
along with the usual tripod, Tamron back pack and other stuff.
But I'm not going, so just ignore this post ; :(

Hope you make it, Ray...but if not, represent us well at Hong Kong Disney. ; Wear the TMIP shirt and lanyard, and walk around the park talking out loud and pointing at things to your invisible group. ; It might just be curious enough that some people might decide to follow you and see what you're talking about!

These lists are great. ; There are all kinds of little things others are taking that I would have never thought of.

This list may change in the next five weeks, but here's what I think I'll be taking:

Nikon D300
Nikon D70s
18-200 VR
35mm f/1.8
11-16 f/2.8
SB-800 flash
Tripod and two quick release plates
Mini-tripod
Cable release for each body (why can't they use the same one???)
Remote control for D70s
Batteries and charger
A whole mess of memory cards
SD to CF adapter (in case I fill all of the CF cards)
Op/Tech rainsleeves for wet rides
Flash extension cord
Cases
Flashlights
Any other goodies I might purchase between now and then.

I have a question for you cannonites out there. ; I am looking at the fact that I might be renting and not yet purchasing my fifty. ; I see that lens rentals has a zeiss 1.4 for canon, and I was wondering if anyone here had ever used it. ; If so what the thoughts on it were, hopefully in comparison to the similar lens that canon puts out. ; I know I bought my video camera a few years ago because the zeiss optics on it made the colors pop.

Jeff, I shot with the Zeiss last summer. ; There is no difference in the lens between the Nikon and Canon version, other than the mount. ; They're MF only.
