cool! when I was a kid we used to throw ice picks for fun. we could get one to stick every now and then.......

(we used ice picks at work to anchor carpeting while making area rugs)

Cool, I always wonder how the knives seem to stick and not have the handle hit the target.

I used to wonder that too until I saw an episode of knife throwing on Top Shot. ; Getting the knife to stick is completely dependent on the distance between the thrower and the target. ; They know how many times the knife rotates over a certain distance so they stand at those specific distances and choose which end of the knife to hold when throwing based on the number of rotations.
