Nor will I then thy modest grace forget,
; Chaste Snow-drop, venturous harbinger of Spring,
; ; And pensive monitor of fleeting years! ; William Wordsworth

Know what's kinda cool about that, Jay? :)

I took that shot with my Panasonic Lumix point and shoot camera. ; In all my reading this week, one recurring theme kept coming up. ; Simplify. ; Simplify. ; Simplify. ;

I needed to get back to the joy of shooting, without overthinking the rest. ;

I'm so glad you liked the result.

I missed this one the first time around... ; I really like the second one. ; It has a great texture and looks really good as a B&W

I agree. ; It's what inspired me to go out and shoot today. ; Austin's showing signs of spring as well. ; A few trees are in bloom, while the oak leaves have begun to fall.

Thanks everyone. :)

Did you get some good shots today, Roger? ; I think we're still a couple of weeks behind you. ; I so related to your comment about the oaks dropping their leaves. ; I did so much raking in the fall and now..just waiting for our beautiful old stately trees to start dropping 'em on my head again...and I'll be back to the raking. ; They are alot of work, but I do love them dearly. ; There's nothing like sitting out on the deck listening to them whisper in the breeze.

I think I got a few; but I only had 15 minutes....I posted two so far (not in the usual places me thinks!); of course the first was a joke that I noticed last time I was there but didn't stop to take pics...

I like them all, I have to run out to the store, but I am going to be bringing the camera with me, and making sure that it is back in my car, so it is always with me. ; That is usually where it lives during the warmer weather.
