i'm pretty sure i know where these were taken, and i have to say that the commentary works very well, even though i've been there, those words made me see it in a new light, great series

I have no idea what the commentary is, but the pictures stand on their own! :)

I've left clues to the location. ; Hint: Name of passage refers to the stream.

Beautiful series, Scott. ; Makes me wonder why Peter Jackson wasted all of that time in New Zealand.

That's what I thought, too, Dennis.

Anyone hazard a guess to the location?

I saw these shots in your blog over the weekend along with their location. ; Is that cheating?

Didn't read the blog entries, but you've already given enough clues away to tell me it was Robert Treman State Park, NY, outside of Ithaca.

Thanks for reading the blog, Dennis!

Yeah, Roger, I need to be more discreet before I come up with a "Where Am I" thread. ; You got it right, of course, and if anyone is visiting up this way, I highly recommend taking some time to visit the Ithaca area. ; Hey, It's only a few hours northwest from NYC and NJ by personal vehicle.
