Wow - I thought I was crazy to find in September 2015 that there was not an attraction thread yet for Pirates of the Caribbean. I searched back, but couldn't find one.

So without further ado, here's the spot where you can post your photos from inside or outside the Pirates attraction!

The 2015 refurb, I believe, made things a little bit brighter on the attraction. The boats don't flood at the bottom of the drop any more, either. The big disappointment is that there are no longer foot-and-peg prints on the conveyor belt at the end.

Looking forward to seeing the refurb. Pirates was closed in June and in September for my last two trips there.

Very nice I must say! Definitely a steady hand at that shutter speed. Much better than my last effort last month - best I could do with the A6300 and F1.8 lens at ISO12,800:

I couldn't get that nice front angle you got, as I was close to the front of the boat so I would have to shoot over 4 rows of heads!

I have a left coast shot that you've persuaded me to post tomorrow. Not as impressive as either of the two above, but I'll take what I can get.
 
Here's mine. First time I've managed to catch him, but too far away. I guess I have something to work on in October
