Oh what to do?

Woo Hoo, Ray!!!! You're a better man than me, I would've had it out and taking pictures by now. Put the 18-200VR lens on ASAP, make sure the VR is ON and in the NORMAL position (You use ACTIVE mode when you are in a moving vehicle like a car or ride). You're good to go with an 11x zoom and pro bodied camera.

When my D700 came in, it stayed in the box long enough for me to find something to cut it open with. There's no way I could have left in the box that long.

It is now out of the box, played with for a little bit (long enough to figure out how to change shooting modes, change ISO, setup Auto-ISO, set my image type (RAW 12-bit lossless compressed) and setup some my menu stuff)

Now it's packed and ready to go
