PIXELMANIA 2015 Dates & Roll-Call

Tickets for the Halloween and Christmas parties are now on sale. Be aware that the planning board is discussing not attending MVMCP this year, so you might want to hold off on that ticket for Dec. 4. As with all things we do, there will be much more discussion before we make a final decision.
 
Just booked into Kidani for a split stay between a Studio and 1 Bedroom Villa. Was initially going to try to get a studio at the Poly when the 7 month window opens up, but now second guessing myself in that I will have a Washer/Dryer in my 1 BDR at the exact time I would be doing laundry during my overall stay. Plus it looks like if I don't call in to book the Poly at exactly the moment the clock strikes midnight I might not get the room. Anyway, I am currently scheduled to arrive November 27th (Friday) and check out on December 7th (Monday). Of course that is based off the dates the Airline flies right now (so it might change if the airline changes their dates).

  • Friday - MK, start "noonish", MVMCP party night
  • Saturday - EPCOT starting at 11:00am, Candlelight Processional
  • Sunday - AK morning, DHS afternoon

Well NOW I'm official. Now that the 7mo window opened up, I was able to book something - since my home resort was booked within a day of the 11 month window opening. Not much available as expected - Beach - no, Boardwalk - no, BLT - no, Animal Kingdom - no, Wilderness Lodge - no. Given the limited choices - I just picked my usual Saratoga studio - points are cheap and I can walk over to the Marketplace busses, so it's never a bad choice. Polynesian Studios were available for part of the stay - none for Dec 2, but Dec 3 - 6 Lake View were available, FYI. I'm checking in Wednesday, Dec 2 and checking out Monday, Dec 7.

I am starting to make additional plans. There are 2 All Ears Meets that weekend also. (Friday the 4th and Sunday the 6th}.

No changes to that or that I see happening Jackie. We are working on specific schedules for each day, but the day and park have stayed the same.
 
And just to bump this up and remind anyone coming to Pixelmania but unsure about Thursday at Universal - there will likely be a few Pixelmaniacs not going to Universal that day, and we are planning an alternate shooting day likely including daytime at Magic Kingdom and evening at either DHS or Epcot, so if you are intending to be there for Pixelmania but not sure about or not wanting to do Universal Thursday, no worries!
 
Looks like I will be able to catch a few things at Epcot on Saturday and DHS on Sunday afternoon. Will be looking for a detailed schedule to lock it down.
 
Any more plans for the 2015 Pixelmania days yet? Are we going to try to get any FPs for the same time like we did last year?

The Planning Board is working on the schedule as we speak. Yes, we plan to do FP+ as a group and we plan to post those suggested timeframes by 9/30 at the latest.
