I have never eaten at Tusker House either and since I am wanting to try new things, I made reservation for 8 (including myself). ; It is scheduled for Animal Kingdom day at 11:50am.

No, I did not. ; I wasn't sure what the overall plans for the day were going to be, so figured if we are going to Nemo it would be as a group.

looks like we have our Lunch group at Tusker House for Animal Kingdom Day during PM2K11. ; Can't wait to see everyone there.

Did you hear this is a character meal now? ; I'm kind of disappointed about that, but a few drinks at the Dawa Bar beforehand could change my mind. :)

Yes, I just heard that Tusker went over to the Duck side.

Oh, well; as long as they let me eat in peace, The Donald can bring in as many apprentices as he wants.

I didnt think the change took effect until december 4th (according to AllEars), so we should still be okay.

Whew! You are correct, of course. ; The way the WDW fan media went crazy at the announcement, I thought the change had already taken place.

Okay... For everyone eating at Tusker House on DAK Day... Seeing that Festival of the Lion King is going to be around 1:30, would you rather keep the reservation as is and follow up at the Finding Nemo meet. ; Or... Move the reservation to 11:55am? ; The Jungle Treks would be from 10:30am to whenever, but is starting in asia and ends in africa (ie... Next to Tusker House). ; Let me know what you think so I can release one of the two reservations.

If you have the 11:55 ADR, I vote to use it. ; We may have to rush through the end of the Pangani trail, though.

i'm willing to move to the earlier res, lion king is more a favorite than pangani for me anyway

Okay... Called WDW Dining and changed the ADR to 11:50am for 8 (to add Tim and Billy). ; So be sure to put on your sprinting shoes for the "run and gun" thru Pangani and try hard to not "trip it while r.i.p. it" (will make for some interesting photos).
