We are still waiting for the Tiffins reservation to open up. Once we have that reservation, then I'm thinking if the Planning Board agrees, we can proceed with sign up sheets. Skippers and Tiffins are on the pricey side so some people might feel compelled to pick and choose, although I would hope that they would come anyway and have a seat and a beverage if you know what I mean ; )

You are talking about the Tiffins dining package, correct? Hopefully they will have Rivers of Light up and running by then. A thought on availability since there will likely be a mad rush when this is finally announced: would it be a good strategy to grab lunch reservations at Tiffins now so we at least have a table? Has anyone ever tried to convert their normal dining reservation to a Dining Package? Not sure if this is possible or if it would increase our chances of getting it if we already had a dinner reservation. Thoughts?

Typically it's just a quick phone call to the reservations line. I've done it for the candlelight in years past. The only possible issue is that they may have a set number of packages to reserve so if "sat" on too long it might not have enough slots available (but don't think that will be a problem with this group).

I posted in the Planning board Dining thread to get a consensus as to what we want to do with the Tiffin's reservation. The hold up has been that Disney is not making progress on the river's of light show so the dining package is off line.

Good news, everyone: For those who can afford the exhorbitant price of a Tables In Wonderland card (or those, like me, who were lucky enough to buy one before the latest price increase), the card is now accepted at Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar, Jungle Skipper Canteen, Nomad Lounge and Tiffins. We need to add the Hangar Bar to the schedule, even if it's just an unofficial meet..
 
Just double checking to make sure I haven't missed it... The ADR sign ups have not been posted yet, correct? I know we are tentatively waiting on Tiffin's/Rivers of Light but I wasn't sure.

Red, you are the one that I think of when we hit announcement bench marks. I know you are the earliest arrival so your reservation dates open up first.

Our dining plans are all set with the exception of our Animal Kingdom day and that is because of the Rivers of Light dilemma. We will release the Dining sign up sheets in the very near future so no worries. We also have many seats reserved for the dining locations that we have planned so we are in great shape for that. I think I can say with all confidence that we are going to go public with the details and schedule a Pixelmania shortly.

Thanks for being such a great Pixelmaniac and working together with us to have a lot of fun together in October.

Thanks, I'm looking so forward to the trip. Hitting Universal Orlando for the first time (with a college friend the first weekend)... Going to Halloween Horror Nights (for shows and Scare Zones, no houses for me yet)... Then a few days on my own before PixelMania...
