wish I had that at forsythe. I get to walk thru mud and high grass and weeds and get attacked by ticks, green heads, gnats and other assorted bugs

It's a mighty nice, and kindly, addition by the county and state parks departments...the boardwalks pretty much stretch over any water/mud areas, while the rest of the areas you walk on are raised levees and fire trails...bugs are the only thing we can't avoid...bug bites are part-and-parcel of birding in wetlands! ; Ticks? ; Check. ; Gnats? ; Check. ; Mosquitos? ; Check. ; Deer flies? ; Check. ; Horseflies? ; Check. ; Wasps? ; Check. ; Hornets? ; Check. ; Muddobbers? ; Check. ; Throw in a smattering of spiders of all types, and the non-biting but annoying bugs like beetles, palmetto bugs, ants, skimmers, etc...if you're allergic to bugs, or worried about coming home covered in red spots and itchy patches...best stay away!

yea Justin. every time I come home I have some bumps and itching but gotta deal with it to get the pics as you know

Very cool! ; I always love those perspective shots where something in the foreground appears to be almost reaching out to grab you. ; Corners and points are especially cool that way!

This thread gets better and better with each post. ; Well done, everyone!

Here's a young lass awaiting her turn at the Piping Station to be judged in the Solo Piping competition at the CNY Scottish Games.
