Yeah, dof with those filters are very shallow. ; Makes for a different look for sure and you've pulled it off.

Your trees are way ahead of ours. ; My photo was taken 10 days ago and I have not seen much change since. ; The cooler temps have been delaying things a bit up there. ; This mornings storms and a stretch of warmer weather coming up should get things in high gear by the end of next week. ;

I was walking Suzy and came upon this and after seeing your photo Scott I thought I would take a stab at some close ups as I have never really spent any time trying it. I used the 50 1.8 with a 2x close up filter. I never realized how shallow the DOF is with the close up filters but now I want to experiment more.
this was at f 3.2 on the D7000
