Kiki,

I love the Point of View many of your pictures have. Very different and gives me new creative ideas for my next trip

Thank you! Headed down to WDW tomorrow for another couple of hundred shots...hopefully one or two good ones out of the lot.

It must be so nice to live so close! I have been trying to convince my wife to move down there for over a year, and I am having no luck what-so-ever!

We've lived here 28 years. We both worked at WDW in the 80s for 5 years. I don't miss working there, but I love being a "guest."

Keep trying, wifey might cave in one day, you never can tell. What are her objections?

the summer heat is the dealbreaker in this house, we experienced it a couple of times late 90's and since then absolutely no florida summer for us, of course then we go in 06 last week of october to food & wine and it hits 98 4 days in a row

Oddly, you get used to the heat. When we moved here from up North (not that far north...Virginia...), it was almost overwhelming, but you do adjust. Now, if it drops below 70, the sweaters come out. I've even gotten used to bugs and humidity! Wouldn't trade it for anything at this point. Florida is home.

I'll tell you though the summer thing wouldn't be a problem because we get the same type of weather here in NJ in the summer, Hazy Hot and Humid. No difference

I got to tease my sister about this. For a while she was living in Jacksonville, but she's not really a diehard Disney fan. She got a season pass to Universal Studios instead.

And then last year she moved to Wisconsin, and this winter they just set a new record for snowfall!

She comes from the Midwest, though, so it's not like this was a big shock for her.
