Sakari was born in January. ; And here she is, staying next to her mom and actually trying to imitate her mom during the show.

This is the first show I've been to since they changed in, and I really don't like it. ; Believe just doesn't have the same flow or character without the human-in-the-water interaction, and I know that OSHA is probably not going to allow that again.
 
I don't see how OSHA has any authority over this. ; I think that the parks pulled the people to make a good faith effort at keeping them safe, but let's face it, they are "killer" whales for a reason, and there is an inherant danger in working with them. ; It is no different then the lion tamer that puts his head in the lion's mouth for the show that he does.
 
Once an employee has an injury, particularly a fatal one, OSHA gets jurisdiction. ; Heck Disneyland has to deal with that more and more because California law states that if a guest has an injury at a theme park, Cal-OSHA has jurisdiction. ; Which is also why the Peoplemover is never coming back to Disneyland (as it used to be)
 
Interesting. ; I just think it's funny how they can inject themselves into a realm that they know little to nothing about, and try to learn on the fly.

I hope that the Shamu Rocks show doesn't loose anything from the lack of human participation in the water. ; That is really my favorite show.
