I got off my tail yesterday and drove down to Forsythe. ; It was a little cold but for the first time the light was pretty good (I usually bring the bad weather, just ask Howie!). ; The first set is using a 55-300mm lens. ; The second group I met up with Howie and he let me use a 1.4x teleconverter. ; It really made the difference in getting more reach. ; Here are the better shots, I did not get anything that great. ;
I did a lot of getting out of the car and trying to "spook" the birds to get some in flight shots.
