Some Forsythe Shots

I spent about 3 hours with Howie about 2 weeks ago. ; As it may seem, I could be something of bad luck, since that may have been one of the worst days there. ; I did manage to see some birds. ; Here are a few.

And my one "worthy" shot of the owl, man do I need a longer lens!

I say that all the time John. I see the results some friends get with the monster lens they have like the 600 with a 1.4 converter on a crop body or the 800mm and even they need more sometimes.
in a few weeks it will be easier to get shots as the ospreys get close when bringing back fish and there will be a lot more herons and the immature night crown herons get real close and the skimmers are within range of your lens too

I have some good shots of the osprey from my second "lap" that I am still going through. ; I was much happier with them. ; I should post them later today or tomorrow.
