but you're not going to take my stapler... ; As for packing, I tried to dig stuff out from last year to bring back down (found a few things... lost some others...)
 
Hard to believe I just checked in at the hotel! ; Five more business days! ; (even though I have to work on Black Friday)
 
No, Disney started allowing you to check in 10 days in advance, so supposedly there is a different line to pick up your room key, etc....kind of like the reward programs with Marriott/Hilton.....(because your CC info is on file)
 
Yeah there is a different line for check in. ; There are signs at all of the resorts now that has online check in noted on it. ; This seems to be going really well for them.
 
Well that's good to know! ; My hit rate with the big chain rewards programs is usually around 80-90%, and it's really nice to get up to the front and your key is ready for you, and only have minimal paperwork to fill out. ; Will make the stress of traveling much lower![nb]Not a debate issue, I don't mind the new machines, had it once in Boston, and Austin can't get the new machines yet, something about falling through the floor.....[/nb]

I haven't noticed much of a difference between the online check in and regular check in. ; It may just be that I usually check in at irregular times (due to flight times) and it has never really been busy. ; I think the last time I used online check in I actually had to wait for the Desk Clerk to finish with a non-online check-in guest before coming over to check me in.

That's interesting... ; I guess it just depends on arrival times. ; On my last two trips we checked in between 8:00-10:00am and the online check in line was empty and the others were all 3 people deep. ; I decided to try the online check in this time so we'll see how it goes.
 
i'll be trying the online check in process this trip for the first time, just finished checking in, i was wondering if it would even be available, and this morning an email from disney, complete with links to the process. seems to be smooth enough, guess i'll find out wednesday.
 
Checked in today using the Online Check-in line. ; Took me just as long as the regular line since they forgot to make the keycards.
 
I haven't bothered with it myself, as my checkin times are so random and usually not during everyone else's that I've never really had more than 2 or 3 people in front of me.

When I come up likely Thursday morning (so far, I don't think I can make Wednesday night), I have to see how I am waking up and driving up in the AM - if I start early enough I'll have time to check in before heading to the park for Pixelmania events...otherwise, I may just be driving in to the resort, and jumping the first bus to the parks without checking in (that's what I did last year)...and then checking in later that night.
