Thanks everyone for the kind words.

John, I ran the half along with my sister and two cousins. We had planned on making the trip since last spring together as a family trip, but when our grandfather passed away in September, we decided to run the race in his memory.

I did get up early on Sunday and cheer on the runners as they came past the GF.

What a great way to run the race, for your Grandfather! ; Congrats on doing it! ; I remember the folks well outside the GF, they were a huge help since there were not too many out there!
 
That's a nice shot Michael, I really like this shot. And kudos to you for honoring your grandfather in that manner.
