Tea Cups at Night (shot the hard way)

I've seen a lot of pictures of the Tea Cups from the outside looking to the ride. I haven't seen anyone who's gone through the spinning themselves.

Here's my oldest daughter on the tea cups at night.

Nice shot. ; I tried that in May and just about got sick trying to get the shot. ; Not a good idea to try and change settings on that ride.

I couldn't get all three of my girls to sit close enough. I had a couple with two of the girls that came out okay. Now you've given me a challange for the next trip!

I've never been on the Teacups, myself. I don't think I'd get sick, but I also don't think I'd fit in one of those little cups very comfortably. They're not much bigger than my favorite mug.

The Reunion bunch has meets at Dumbo, TTA and Speedway between 10 pm and midnight on Dec. 2. ; Maybe we can combine forces for a Tea Cup meet, providing both riders and photographers!

It could prove to be an interesting photo meet if some are on the ride, and some are off of the ride spectating.

That's a neat idea, but it could be hard to pull off. ; To get a really sharp image, I couldn't have my sister spin the teacup because she was moving too much, so we had our dad in on the ride with us to do the spinning. ; That was a really tight squeeze to put 3 adults in the teacup with a camera bag. ; It was bad enough with two of us the first time we tried it.
