I love searching for Hidden Mickeys as well. I even bought the app for my iPhone so I don't have to carry the book around.
That is a very long list of things to do at the resorts! We are planning on taking our kids for the fist time next year, so this is helpful. I have been to the Epcot before and it was a wonderful experience. I recommend that visitors try and eat at every country possible to make the most of the experience. There is a lot of really good food there. I ate at the fish and chips restaurant in the England set up and I think it was the most authentic I have ever tasted. And you have to stick around to see the fireworks show at the end of the night...it is amazing!!

Wow, those are certainly some long lists! And such great suggestions as well- this really makes me want to plan our first Disney family trip, but I'm afraid it might take just a few years as I want baby to be able to remember actually going there. My family brought me to the Orlando park when I was around 5 which so doesn't count. Pictures are all well and good but they can't stand in for memories. Here's hoping all the good rides don't close before we get there!
I'd say mine are very simple, and its really just to try and ride all the rides in the theme park as I could. I've always wanted to get through all of them before my trip ends, but between looking for hidden Mickey's, hanging out in the resorts, dinners, I've never succeeded but that would be what I'd do every time I go.

Thanks for the lists of things to do you guys. I have never been to Disneyland so I have no clue what to do first. I am planning trip for this summer with my nephew and nieces. I am sure they will have a good time. Any suggestions of what I should do for kids who are 6 and under?

My sister's kids are 4 & 5, and this probably varies depending on the kids' personalities, but their favorite thing is meeting the characters. They are at the age where they'll probably still remember it long after, and it makes for really special moments. Lots of the rides are kid-friendly, too! (tea cups,etc.)

It's been a very long time since I went to Disney World or Land, but the one thing I remember most is going inside that big white ball. Make sure to go to the ride called Spaceship Earth. It's a ride that showcases how communications has evolved and changed throughout time. The ride itself was not the most interesting or memorable part of my trip; however, it was the experience of entering the "big, white ball" that is the icon of Epcot. Everyone knows what you talk about when you say "big, white ball at Epcot". Make sure to visit so you don't regret it and always think back and wonder what was inside that big sphere!

All of these suggestions are awesome. I'm making a list of things to do before we go, these lists have come in handy (only 2 more weeks! AAH! So excited!) And I'm back, with some composure. I really want to try the Tinkerbell wake-up. I thought that sounded like something to do with my baby cousins they're both two. They love fairies.
