#3 is really tricky from that angle Tim, but I'll bet that pixie knows the answer.

#4 looks like a red deer to me

It is hard to see what #3 is pointing towards...

#3 is pointing to an animal rolled up in a ball. Now South American Armadillo is my first choice, esp. after looking at the claws on the front legs. Maybe it's a hedgehog, but there is a better hedgehog elsewhere on the tree.

#4 looks like a red deer to me

... could be. I was leaning toward elk because the deer's face comes to more of a point than an elk's face which is more blunt at the nose and mouth.
