I've been trying to figure out how we all tour the parks together using this Genie manipulation B.S. I think we are going to have to connect by adding each other to the MDE Planning party page.

I have a headache just thinking about it.

But it’s only going to affect us if we opt into the extra $15/day for fastpasses. If using the free portion, all it’s going to do is give suggestions.

Though I’d guess we would have to all be connected in order to access it outside of the park. How does virtual queue (like for RotR) work for parties that are not under the same reservation?

We are going to have to do some sort of a Poll to figure out if:
A) pixelmaniacs are interested in Genie + and
B) If yes how do we coordinate. We should probably do that in a Thread on the Pixelmania Board.

For now (initially) I think I’d only use it if it’s available for Ratatouille and/or Rise… but they’ll be the individual price if anything (and that hasn’t been set yet). Ratatouille has apparently confirmed that it will also use virtual queues, so it’s anyone’s guess if we will get to ride it on Epcot day.

Is the Genie App available? I can’t find it, or is it just going to be added to MDE. Thank you
 
Well…. one more major price increase with a newly paid “perk”…

My AP has effectively increased 50% with my next renewal… and the previously free perk of photopass is now $99 per year.

Yep, 899 a year for five of us to lose photopass and not get any free fastpasses. Why do we keep doing this to ourselves?

Do you have the Platinum Pass? I can’t find anything on prices. Mine doesn’t renew till next April
 
The DVC gold pass equivalent is $899 ($749 renewal) and then add $99 for photopass option… it’s now called the “Sorcerer Pass”.

There are two tiers below that called Pirate and Pixie Dust. The pixie one is weekdays only and no holidays. The Pirate one is no holidays and a few blackout weekends.

But even with sorcerer pass, it’s no thanksgiving or Christmas/New Years (not that I’d be going then anyway).

You can only get pirate or pixie passes if you are a Florida resident.

Pixie and Pirate are Florida Residents only… Sorcerer is Resident and DVC…

So yes, the (Not so)Incredi-Pass is the only option for 90% of Out-of-State Passholders.
