Wide & Telephoto Lenses... for Webcams!

I was trolling through eBay when I stumbled upong this auction for a set of wide & telephoto lenses for a Logitech webcam. I was kind of shocked when i saw it. Not wuite sure what anybody would use it for though. ???

most probably for security. I've never seen the tele lens but I used to use the wide-angle add-on lens on my webcam that I set at the corner of my house (outdoor) for security purposes. This way I can see who's at the door before answering the door.
