PM2014: FastPass+ recommendations

I have TSM for 9:15am also.
 
Bear in mind that even though there are no FP+ available for Festival of Fantasy now, there may be more later. In May, there were none available for the date that I wanted until a day or two in advance. I suggest checking every few days to see if one becomes available. They may be holding some back for the folks that can only reserve 30 days in advance. And regardless, plans change; there may be several cancellations over the next two months.
 
So after unpacking from most recent trip (arrived home today at 2:00 pm) I sat down to do my FP+ for Pixelmania. Here is what I got:

10-16 - Epcot
Spaceship Earth 9:55-10:55
Soarin 11:10-12:10
Mission Space

10-17 - Magic Kingdom
Mine Train 10:05-11:05
Jungle Cruise 11:55-12:55
Big Thunder Mountain 5:40-6:40 (stole your idea Michael!)

10-18 - Animal Kingdom
Expedition Everest 9:40-10:40
Finding Nemo 2:30-2:50
Safari 4:35-5:35

10-19 - Hollywood Studios
Toy Story Midway Mania 9:00-10:00
Light Motors Action 12:50-1:10
Indiana Jones 4:45-5:05

I will be around half the day on Monday the 20th and grabbed these for Magic Kingdom:
Peter Pan's Flight - 9:35-10:35
Mine Train - 10:45-11:45
Splash Mountain - 12:05-1:05
 
I got the following for October 17th. Can not do the 18th yet.

Mine Train between 9:45AM and 10:45AM
Jungle Cruise between 12:35PM and 1:25PM

Also got Haunted Mansion at 11:15AM and 12:15PM.

I notice that Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is on 10/16 (EPCOT day) and 10/19 (Hollywood Studios day). Am I missing something or will this change the schedule?
 
We are going to MNSSHP on Friday, October 17, the MK day. This information is buried in the Pixelmania 2014 dates thread. I'll start a new thread later today to consolidate important information like this.
 
Dennis, I understand that that's the plan based on the thread but if I try to buy tickets, the event is only available on the 16th and 19th, not the 17th.
 
I see that now. Here's the trick: On the MNSSHP ticket page, be sure to select "All Guests" at the top of the page. Mine defaulted to Annual Passholder and only showed the dates for which AP discounts are available. Unfortunately, we have to pay full price for the Friday night party.
 
Dennis, according to the schedule at Pixelmania, we're going to EPCOT on Friday the 17th and Magic Kingdom and MNSSHP on Thursday the 16th.

Where is the schedule that you are seeing? We typically do Magic Kingdom on the Thursday, yet with Food and Wine going on we felt that Friday would be the better day for Magic Kingdom and MNSSHP. The park days for our schedule are as follows:

Thursday 10-16 - Epcot
Friday 10-17 - Magic Kingdom
Saturday 10-18 - Disney's Animal Kingdom
Sunday 10-19 - Disney's Hollywood Studios

John, I think Fred is referring to the Tentative (subject to change) park of the day schedule that Tim posted on TMIP back in March.

Fred, the Park of the Day schedule that John posted above is correct. Sometime between March and June (when Dennis posted it in the Pixelmania Dates thread), the schedule changed to keep us out of EPCOT on Friday when it typically turns into the world's largest pub crawl. Tim has been extremely busy and hasn't had a chance to update the original announcement on TMIP. Sorry for any confusion this has caused. Hopefully Tim will get a chance to fix it soon.

We're extremely close to having the schedule finished. EPCOT ending several entertainment acts destroyed what we thought was a final schedule.
 
Go to the Pixelmania site. I already got my tickets for MNSSHP for Friday. I went to the Pixelmania site a few days ago and saw the tentative schedule which lists Thursday as Magic Kingdom day.
 
I requested that someone update that page several weeks ago. Apparently Tim is the only one who can do it, and he's been busier than a one-armed paper hanger again this year.
 
With 3 small children and a Sergeant's Test to study for, this year has been understandably busy. I tried talking him out of one or two of the children but he said he thought his wife might have a problem with that.
I'd even take the one still in diapers but no dice!
