signs of spring

my oldest son and his family live in Clinton NY. I been up there 4 times and I never knew spring even existed there

LOL Now, now...it's not quite that bad! As you can see, we are still waiting for the trees to leaf out. They've been budding and flowering for the past week. With the really warm weather hitting the northeast this week, it won't be long now.

Here's another one. One of the gorillas at the local zoo out of his shelter and enjoying on of our first warm days in Michigan last weekend ...

Here's the baby dove I was talking about.

I haven't seen it since I posted.

That would be nice to see behind my house.

All I've got are doves, mockingbirds, cardinals, ladder backed woodpeckers, tons of tufted titmouse (would that be mice??), lots of finches, and the black and occasional turkey vultures.

And feral pigs, deer and rabbits. Apparently we had a texas coral snake this morning in our yard - I didn't see it.

And I can't forget scorpions. What a mix.
